Hi J - maybe we can agree to disagree in terms of liquidity. As far as institutional support is concerned, I should emphasize I am not against it. However, I am less certain when institutions would buy or sell. That is a statement of personal uncertainty. If others are privy to institutional decisions, then others will not have that uncertainty. In the last few years, the phenomenon of buying on the dip is in part due to individual investors' willingness to hold steady in the face of herd onslaught. As a matter of opinion, that distinguishes the N American markets with other markets. Look at Japan, the retail customers have fled and never come back [note: I am not saying it is a causal relationship.] I guess I believe even common folks are in control of their destiny and level the playing field, if they have the tool to do so.

Nuff about philosophy. Happy X'mas & New Year

best, Bosco
