Just checked Fidelity and a small firm out of Pa. No split in either account. Not sure that the Q could change the date with no notice andthere is nothing on AP or Reuters or DOW regarding this. Perhaps Mer is worried about their computers on Y2K and wanted to get a leg up on their computerized tasks (just jokin).

Happy Christmas Eve, dwayanu.

>> Merrill Lynch reports that Qualcomm distributed the split shares last night, and has credited my accounts with the split shares, and I verified it through their support line.

I think you or your ML rep has mixed up two issues:

Shareholders of record on 12/23 will be credited with the split (note: this is a legal statement; if you buy the stock after 12/23, you will STILL get the split).

The actual split date will be 12/30 at the close of the market. Actually, the stock won't begin trading at the split price until Friday, 12/31.

Ho, ho, ho,

And he posted tongue firmly in cheek....

But it is always fun to have to tweak those that are almost paying attention

Dwayanu! Just how close to the North Pole do you live? Maybe this could explain why you are the first to get the split....Sanata has started his rounds and just happened to reach you first. No Fair I want 4 X"s in my stocking too. Florida is always the last stop.....I might not get mine until 12/31...We'll see.

I just checked my accounts with Fidelity, Accutrade and Brown and no split action on any of the above......

dwayanu are you for real?????

This is nothing to joke about..........Not with Christmas and all.....Verify! Verify! Verify!

Happy Holidays!
And to all a good night!!!
dealer :-)

I hope not, that would be a double negative. No company, that I have own has split early with a notice to investors. I don't see it my account.
