If you want to make money .. buy corel.

Microsoft's product are all inferior, just because they use dirty tactics & unlimited amount of money to squeeze their opponents into submission.. does not mean their products are better than Word Perfect or Netscape. You ever use microsoft explorer...don't tell me microsoft explorer are better than netscape. I don't know where you get the idea that microsoft's product is better then corel wordperfect. I'm sure there're millions of americans out there will totally disagree with what just wrote about Corel.

You probably bought Corel at $44 and sold it at $13...or you're probably losing your pants shorting corl at $13. hahahaha
Most of corel's bad news came out already, Rod Macpherson do your self a favour & buy some corel...bitching won't make you any money.

Look, this is simple. Users flocked away from Word Perfect many years ago because Microsoft's product was better.

I disagree with you on that point.

Microslop has never developed a product in their life. They either buy the competition out, bundle the competing product with the OS or just plain knock them off. In one special case they gave the product away. Remember Netscape and internet exploder. Wordperfect back then was far superior to Word.

If MS didn't have a monopoly you would have had fair competition and the better product back then WP would have a good market share. Considering MS controls the OS they held back code on Corel when they upgraded the OS to prevent Corel from developing the best code possible to run on the worst OS I have ever seen windows.

The problem with Corel was Cowpie who couldn't figure it out and blew millions on advertising and ended up letting all the Orem development team go due to insufficient income.
