Programmer's Paradise is a retailer, not a software developer. As you might expect from the name, they sell software to programmers. For years they were strictly catalog, now (a little late IMO) they're making an internet push. I've ordered from them in the past, but I haven't for quite a while because I can usually get just as good or better prices elsewhere. Also, obscure programming software used to be harder to find than it is now.

In any event, "a razor thin margin and PSR of only 0.1" fits the bill perfectly for this company.

PROG is a retailer of shrink-wrapped software. They sell products such as Microsoft's Visual Basic and associated 3rd party add-on tools.

The share price was dinged because of poor sales in Europe. They blamed Y2K development freezes for the decrease, I'm don't know how valid that excuse is.
