AMZN gets a lot of headlines but it is not a key factor in how the Internuts trade any longer. Just check out the past year:

siliconinvestor.com

There is a lot of sector rotation within the Internuts now. If you had shorted CMRC based on AMZN's weakness in 1999, you would face the same problem that people who shorted AMZN two years ago faced.

The next time the Internuts do one of their patented 50% swan dives over a few months, HHH puts will be the place to be.

Oh, I don't think it will take long. AMZN may not have any earnings for decades<g>.

Imagine if YHOO and EBAY lost 40% of their value in a few trading days. Their PE's would them come down the very "reasonable" 3 and 4 digit range respectively<g>.
