have the crossovers been more or less numerous lately? JXM: During December their has been an upward bias of the 2, 5, and 13 day Moving Averages against the S&P 500 index... There were two slight downside violations that were quickly resolved to the upside... The Moving Averages are now spreading outward like a fan... This is a bullish pattern... I expect the end of year tax selling to be done with... When we see those New Lows begin to drop dramatically it will signal a bullish January... But... If the New Lows persist into January I'd be building up a cash position of at least 50%... Jim
