Hey Bud ... You ever wonder like I do about all the colorful persona;ities on the interent and wonder who are sheep and who are really solid individuals? I have a piece which started out being an outline for a chapter in a book I am collecting information or researching to be entitled, "Am I to Stupid to know when I am being Dumb! (OTC Trading)"

Emotional Investors (Sheep) get creamed (Fleeced)

The internet is fraught with a realization that everyone is a sheep but themselves. However, how do you know if you are a sheep or not. Well the following are some questions to help you determine your sheep quotent.

 Do you have a discipline like a mechanical system to keep that nervous Nelly locked away?
 When you invest do you make decisions by acting or reacting?
 Are you a cheerleader or do you take the time to investigate?
 Do you know why you own a security or was it the action that brought you in?
 Do you personally attack anyone that asks a question or try to find the answer?
 Do you pay attention to flags in a stock or just consider them normal events?
 Are debentures, mis-representations, and news release about the stock or price of the stock ... flags?
 Do you honestly think or believe bashers are paid?
 Do you only care about the escalation of the price not the reason for it?
 Do you update your due diligence at least once a week?
 Are exaggerated hyped rises the type of investments you search for?
 Do you know when to buy and when to sell based on a cycle?
 Are you willing to just let it ride for the long term because of due diligence or the story?
 Do you get angry because any type of negative information or opinions?
 Do you have rational expectations?
 Do you monitor the real world's expectation of an investment?
 Do you consider how a company is financing its growth?
 Have you educated yourself by reading books or articles such as ?The Intelligent Investor? by Graham?
 Do you know the investment and the inherent risks?
 Do you know your own emotional strengths and weaknesses?
 Do you tolerate your mistakes or find yourself blaming others?
 Do you invest or play the market?
 Do you have a long term view or short term when investing?
 Are you flexible and use common sense?
 Do you find yourself doing tax loss selling at the end of the year of large profit selling at the first of the year?
 Do you have a list of Guru types you follow or get stock picks from?
 Do you invest on fundamental data alone or use technical analysis as an enhancement or visa versa?
 Do you get upset when you discovered someone sold?
 Do you check the historical to see if the stock was front-loaded?
 Do you verify all information pro and con?
 Do you catch yourself selling too soon or way to late?
 Are you right sided thinking or left or do you know the difference?
 Is risk just an assumption or is it manageable?
 Do you have extreme optimism for the future without an underlying basis?
 Do you know when dilution is coming in?
 Are you patient?
 Do you invest in companies that put out monthly information?
 Do you find yourself holding on to a security where most of the time the public imagine is not about the stock but instead a war of personal attacks and arguments?
 Do you find yourself asking questions from someone else instead of finding the answer for yourself?

One final question though ? Will you expect to reach your financial goals in the market and life short term or long term?

Think about it.
