However, contrary to expectations, there was no announcement regarding the price of the new car. That is now expected to happen during the Auto Expo in January next year. "We expect the Wagon R to become the market leader in India in a very short time, as it had done in Japan," Suzuki Motor Corp-oration president and CEO Osamu Suzuki said at a press conference in New Delhi. The Wag-on R is Japan's best-selling car, having sold 5,00,000 units in three years.
