Merry Christmas Arnold,,be happy with temps in the 50's,,I have the "0's" here..brrr<g>..I don't know a thing about GELX, so far it is holding the double bottom at 10 on the P&F chart, and there appears to be some very strong support in this area, a 3 box reversal would occur at 11.5 (it was close Thurs.)Looks like a good buy on a break above 12,IMO(sweet spot,12-15, short term 25% gain)
stockcharts.com
This sure looks like bottom to me,,why the drop? Looks like heavy resistance in the 15 area..
I'll leave the Bband read to the pros, but my take is, the bands have narrowed indicating a possible move in the future, trading right about at the 20 moving average,,but currently looks flat..But a possible bottom fishing play,IMO..Would have to have Sergio look at the FA..What does the FA look like?
timely.com
Maybe John's William% would be a good indicator for any move?

Arnie, sorry about the dry bar over at your place. Please make sure the boat is well stocked when we visit. Twin screw?

Don't get too comfortable with the high techs. It's been a little too easy. Just when you get cozy, the chair is pulled out from under you. Money managers have been shifting into these stocks at window dressing end of the quarter, because they've been the only game in town. I would be shocked it that remains the case in the new year. These same fund managers will need to get back to the principles and strategies of their respective institutions and funds.

Glad that I was of help to you in your play on CTCH. GELX doesn't look very strong right now. Top is at 11 1/2 right now. With the sector finding some buyers and the H & Q conference coming up, you might see a peek at a slightly higher price, but without some major news, 11 1/2 remains short term top.

BTW, I'm still riding DUSA. Looking for 30s.

Sergio

Arnie,

Glad to be of help. Hope you know that the banter between MikeBo and me is in jest. He lives in a very nice mansion in the flat lands of Kansas. <ggggg>

I saw that GELX has a huge short position and bought on Thurs. on the momo and break over 11. Also noted that there was considerable buying toward the end of the day back to 5/8. I hate to miss a gapper like that (buying on the high side). Did you see that the stock is near a 3 year low? Indicators are just beginning to turn up with the closed gap at 5/8 and grossly oversold, I think 14ish will be the first stop up in the near future.
