Vendit - it's true, QT cannot compare to LevelII programs out there. It also doesn't cost $200+ a month. It is, though, much better than Datek's Streamer AND it can compare quite favorably to the $30-50/month programs out there. QT also is only as good as the sources you hook up to. It does news monitoring and can do news alerts - but the timeliness depends on the source. It can connect to several sources though (and dozens of sources for RT quotes). Quite a few of our users tell us that they use QT side by side with those $200+/month programs because they find QT enhances their trading even with those programs in place. Your mileage may vary :)
