Do you have any feelings about the fuel cell and battery industries. The number of stocks in this area that have made significant gains recently is quite amazing (I forgot to mention BATS in the list of 100-200% gainers from my previous post).

I know that a lot of these companies have been floundering for years. Could it be that now their time has come as we are finally seeing real orders rather than just government research contracts.

I particularly like EVRC with the success it is having selling its batteries for scooters in China, amongst other things.

I think Ballard (BLDP) will do well. California and New York states are pushing for low emission vehicles to have 10% market share by 2003 & 2004 respectively. Ballard are clearly the leader in developing fuel cells for this market.
