StaggerLee: Not everyone thinks like you. In fact, on the contrary to your belief, receiving advice from a minister makes me feel warm and happy. Dr. Bill Delglish's knowledge and sound and balanced advice are to be cherrished. We need more of his type. If regious beliefs/practices or interests (!) are the yardstick for listening to one's advice, then we are in good company with Dr. Delglish, CFP.

Regarding stock market reaching its top: So, you are going to cash in and wait for the bargains when the market take a huge dive? I have heard this from the expert for the last 6 years or so!

Market reached its top long time ago (& year after year higher tops came & went). This happened for the large number of companies that were managed by the three-piece-suits managers who worked 5 to 9 & took the weekend off. They basically lost to 21-year-olds with ideas & lots of energy. As you see, market is not favoring old stocks anymore---new technology & ideas are running the ship & not the old money.

Meryy Christmas! And welcome to the New Economy: internet & telecommunication revolution.
Good luck with your investments.
