As you know, X-Stream licensed its software to Livedoor to start a free ISP in Japan. Livedoor received $30M in venture capital investment from Newbridge Capital. San Francisco area based Newbridge is making extensive investments in Asia now, including taking over Korea First Bank. So, who are these guys? Newbridge is run by Richard C Blum who is most famous for being the husband of California Senator Diane Feinstein. There is no doubt he and Newbridge are well connected politically and financially. These guys are serious businessmen and would not take a stake in a venture without total DD, including X-Stream. X-Stream's new CFO is from San Francisco area. Livedoor and Newbridge are based in San Francisco. Coincidence? Maybe. If so, it is an X-Streamly large coincidence. Happy holidays everyone. Jeff
