<<Who knows? Only things I do know, after couple of years living with Q and daily pondering every Q nuance, is that the Q beast has not yet begin to pound it's chest, that every time I get pissed at Q management it proves me wrong (or stupid) by pulling another rabbit out of the hat, that Q's engineers are one incredible gang of tech warriors and that when the news or rumors are negative and the momentum drives price down, it always rebounds to new, unimaginable pricing highs and the green numbers at bottom of spread sheet keeps getting wider. In other words I don't give a short-term damn what happens this week cause next year is going to be one hell of a year for Q and anyone who holds the stock.>>

Great first post of the day for me to read, Alias; even through heavy eyelids. I'd cut it out and tape it to my shaving mirror for daily reading but the thought so closely "reflects" <ggg> my thinking about the Q that there is no need to.

Me? I'll reconsider a potential exit strategy for my Q, G* and Lor around 2003 or so, although I think it will still be early. Should get several excellent opp's to build out the position in the meantime. Almost every time I've sold in anticipation of a downdraft I've ended up losing a great position, paying capital gains sooner than I would have liked, and missing out on a significant chunk of the next leg up. Looks like I'm starting to learn; there's an interesting correlation with profits, too <g>.

Take care.

"...kinda doubt we'll see the anticipated upward run toward the split."

Then again...I could be wrong!
