Gary North's latest feelings are probably best summed up in this excerpt from a post titled "I Wish You a Merry Christmas. Here's Why..." "I am looking ahead one week in expectation of a great disruption -- possibly physical (power failures), but surely economic. The disruptions could come overnight, or they may grind us down, month by month, as the digits take their toll, sabotaging our engine of prosperity." Given that Gary is considered the Ultimate Doomer, that's actually (for him!) a rather cheery prediction; and well off his former apocalyptic stance...imho, anyway.
