Pruguy,

Nice post. But does that fit your definition of substantive? You could have lifted that entire piece from what my posts convey, except I would never kiss Scott's rear so blatantly <grin at Scott>.

I'll assume you were having a bad day last week, or somebody stole you password to post that Glaser is a genious, and he will lead Real to the promised land over the next 5 years, since that exact statement sdeemed to get your dander up. Perhaps you should change your screen name to Tim Johnson or Ken Griffey.

Your statements led me to believe that you had some solid facts, or information that I was not aware of ... I was trying to get this pinned down. Sounds like nothing has changed between the two for now ...

But my technical knowledge is only in a few specific spaces ... you, no doubt, are far smarter in other areas! Besides, I do agree that there are numerous factors that effect stock prices ...

Yep ... when George Gilder adds you to his list of ascendent technology companies, there is nowhere to go but up ... for a while. I'm happy as can be on that, as long as it stays up for a while so that I can get out of some after the New Year! ;-)

... and they will do "ok" in the market ... and I will have made my money and more ... and I'll continue to look for the next investment.

I'm only in these stocks for the time that I expect to see large advancements and "domination" in their segment. If the growth curve drops, or if a new competitive technology arises, then I invest there. I'm not into investing for "religion" on a particular company ... I simply try to evaluate how they fit into my "inevitable evolution" theory ... as long as they do, I'm in. (And in actuality I'll probably *always* hold some stock in RNWK ... I'm simply looking for a point to take the majority of my money in it, and invest in newer companies ...)

I know that he *has* to be working on something ... I'm just trying to figure out the angle! ;-)
