Hi!!
RE: RE:Kemble-Could those new buildings in Austin be for the manufacturing of ---storage (EMC) and new internet (SUNW-type)-servers?-Sort of a "FULL COURT PRESS" towards dominating that field?wbm

I suppose if we knew that answer we'd be mortgaging the dog house...and the SEC would be knocking on the front door.. :o) The only response I can make is we have an incredible amount of building and excavating going on in Round Rock...I've written previously that the area is not something I'd easily recognize now...and we were there in July! We also have knowledge of DELL employing something like 30% more in Nashville than what they "promised" for the first year...We know that additional products (notebooks) will be manufactured there...IMO we have a massive shell game going on now...All I can do is judge what I knew three years ago...what I saw two years ago...and what I've seen being built last year...and since July...well, William...no question DELL has either mismanaged their plans for the future...or we're in for a real surprise...or should I say...Some other companies are in for a real surprise?
:o)
BTW...Your question was posed by someone at the briefing this July and Robert Williams steered away from it very smoothly...

Best, Kemble
