Every year for the last 10 years a friend of mine play the Triple Game. He picks one stock and I pick one stock that we predict will triple in the next year. Over the 10 years, we have had 14 that tripled, 1 that lost money and 5 that made money but did not triple.

We have a buy and sell discipline which I would share if anyone is interested but ......

I thought it would be interesting to see how this thread would do. So, post your ONE stock that you feel will triple in the year 2000. I will (mock) buy it at the open of the first day in 2000 and give a monthly update.

BTW, my selection was STJ, my friend selected EMLX.

Good comments Hardline and I had forgotten about that book which is the best on economics out there. I think it should be a requirment for a class to be taught in high school using that book as a textbook. REQUIRED CLASS. t
