To All. . . . Thanks so much, once again. . for all the well wishing and blessings. My family and I had an exceptionally beautiful Christmas. . .we all got cool stuff. . . . but instead of reading the story of Christmas, which our home full of teenagers has heard many times. . . I told them the story of King Solomon. . . who was given by GOD whatever he wanted as a gift!! And he chose wisdom! And I read them some of the poetry written by King Solomon in his book The Ecclesiastes. It is a fascinating story. . .about how after King Solomon had achieved all there was to achieve. . . having amassed more riches than any ruler his country had ever seen. . . having built more fabulous buildings than any before him. . .having tasted every pleasure that life has to offer [literally]. . .having done all there is to do in life. . .he came to the final conclusion. . .that ALL in life is meaningless. . . vanity. . .a chasing after the wind. And this wise man, who wrote the book of Proverbs that we still use today for learning wisdom, concluded that in his wonderfully rich life, only one thing mattered. . .could this be the secret to life as told by the world's wisest man? The only thing he could find in all the world for man to do that was not meaningless. . . . can be found in the final two verses of his book The Ecclesiastes. . .located in the old testament. What?
