Miles, My heart and prayers go out to you. Memories of my father
flood in. Can it be seven years? Also the fact that although I
have given my mother presents this xmas, not what she really needs. Time. I'll be rectifying that this evening.

Gregg,

My deepest sympathy goes out to you and yours. Impossible for me to say I know what your going through. However, I can say with 100% confidence that your mother was very proud of her son. In the end that is the best anyone can wish for.

happy trails milesovmom.....

Miles; Hopefully, down the road, Christmas will be forever marked by all the wonderful memories of mothers and grandmothers gone to a better life. Whenever things got bad, my mother always had the consolation that faith would lead to a more joyous life.
My mom has been gone now for 11 years, and I still have the feeling that I have forgotten to call her on a sunday evening. I even have caught myself walking to the phone.
Best wishes and prayers at this time.

Allan

Greg,
Condolences on the passing of your mom. You have my deepest sympathy. We all share in your loss.
You did her proud with that eulogy. It sounds like her last day was as perfect as it could have been; finishing the preparations for her favorite time, surrounded by loved ones.
I'm sure your Christmas's will never be the same, but hopefully it won't be too long before they are filled with joyous memories of her life, rather than the pain of her loss.
And thank you for reminding us all just how important whatever little time we spend with our families really is.
Yours truly...Alski

Greg:
If the warmth, caring, and humor you show on your posts and your chat conversations are any indication, your mom had plenty to be proud of both during her illness and now with her passing.
With deepest sympathies from my wife and myself.

Gregg,

When our families spent time together in Orlando you talked of your mother and I know her life was a great gift for you all. I very much recall standing on the 2nd floor walkway outside as you told me how important it was to her that she was able to vacation with her grandchildren there and watch them enjoy the theme parks. It was not easy for her to do but she wasn't about to let anything stop her. I'm sure your time with her was filled with lasting memories of love and giving. Her influence will carry on and surely spread.
The thoughts and prayers of my family are with you as your mother's passing becomes a gift to heaven.

Greg:
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Thank you for having the strength to let us into your life at this difficult time. I know all the responses can't heal the sorrow you must feel but I hope it helps. Please keep in touch, there are really a lot of good people here, but then you know that already because you have met most of them. Stay strong.

Greg, My condolences to you and you family. As a loyal lurker it is good to be reminded that their are real lives that are hidden behind the computer screen. Thank you for taking the time to share your grief with us.

G'man....

I'm with you my friend:

all i ask of each of you is to remember what xmas is really about. as my mother would have wished we tried to go thru xmas as best we could. it was her's and her mother's favorite time of year and what she would have wanted us to do.

i have also lost <or shared w/the lord> 2 members of my family during the holiday seasons....along w/a very close friend of mine that was only 1 year 'elder' than I....

Hang in the buddy...the times shared and memories are priceless, and if you had to TA it...well...you know what I mean...

My best to you and yours....

jim
