Well, FWIW, last time QCOM retraced from the 420s back down to the 380s it stayed there for at least two weeks (from memory). I think it may stay in this range for a little while. Post-split, there might be some selling, but I also think there will be buying by all those people who think it's now affordable.

If it dips further this week, even intraday, I'd like to buy some leaps.

Hi steve,

My two cents about price movements in QCOM this coming week:

Based on Jim Willie's and Vendit's reading of the QCOM chart, I'm expecting a fall to support, around 450, tomorrow, followed by a slow retrace to 500 by the end of the week. I'll be looking to add some Jan calls if we get to the 450 area and will position trade them for cash, as I'm looking to exercise a few JDSU January calls.
