With Chechens on its"" You may have a point there! I do beleive that occupation of Grozny is as bad as occupation of Kabul, sort of, and it will tie up Russian resources and energy. In the height of Kosovo crisis I had expected that Russians were have their hands full soon and I told Goldsnow so! But I think Kosovo is behind us. It is of no importance in the political scene, as Russians sold Kosovo and the Serbs to the US in return for a free hand in Chechnya. All the noise from the US and the West is a face saving and PR issue made to impress old maids.
