Kissy, your scenario is interesting,
and makes my sYnApses,
search for connections,..,..,..,..,..,..,..,

I think we will eventually just do a long term JAPAN.
The Garbage will be taken out and shot.
The Big market caps will be cut by 65-80 percent.
The Survivors will do OK - If they *really* benefit from the net.
The Dudes who made millions without earning it,
Will have their lunch eaten....and die young of heart disease.
The Meek will Inherit the earth.

Folks will laugh at my comment, KIS, but think about the last time there was such a dislocation. Many had only known poverty or barely getting by -- now we have a whole generation of "I-deserve-it", "It's-my-right."

I think when the bubble goes there will be very sharp social upheaval here ... I don't relish the thought at all. Our government will become more socialistic than ever, I fear. But I don't know the future ... all I am sure of is, if the world endures and this new era reaches climax -- there will be great political and social upheaval.

My preference would be for a soft landing ... but I don't believe it is possible now ...
