TTF,

FYI: AOL owns a significant chunk of Internet backbone in the U.S. I also believe the Company intends to grow revenues by way of hosting and developing sites for others, as well as expanding internationally (especially Europe). In fact, in the U.K. the Company has already played a significant part in forcing British Telecom to stop charging by the minute (at least for Internet users). To force the arrogant, greedy management of BT into a corner and get the response you are after shows some SERIOUS clout.

Don't write AOL off.

Cheers,
Bond

AOL currently 64 ..down from 82...looks like they stumbled and YHOO will probably take the lead...AOL's isp business forced them to aquire cable access to maintain that revenue number. Unfortunately for them the "non net" media assets of TWX are dragging them into the same abyss that LCOS was sucked into when they tried to merge with USA networks. Will this deal get done??
