But there is no justification for having dozens of potential B2B software businesses already valued at hundreds of millions or even billions of dollars each, with not even a few million dollars worth of real sales, and some without even a working product. I know software, and this software can be done by virtually any small competent software team. Believe me, it is no rocket science, so barriers to entry in this business are small.

As for wireless, in Europe penetration is approaching 50%, and in the USA it's more than 25%. There is still lots of potential, I agree, but it is hardly an undiscovered market -- and competition is fierce. China and India, have between them the vast majority of the population where there IS great wireless potential, and where your 99% number may apply. However, outsiders have experienced very low or negative profit margins in all endeavors they tried within their borders, and I doubt that wireless will be any different.
