While you're busy connecting all the dots on the other side of the globe, you may as well also mention the father-son relationship between the Li of Hutchison Whampoa and the Li of Pacific Century Cyber-Works (PCCLF), and how the GBLX-HW relationship might, in whatever way, be affected by same. Or not. I haven't a clue as to the possible linkage as of this time. I do find it all somewhat intriguing, though.

Dear STeven: Here in south Fla. we are having a COLD WAVE. Temp went ALL THE WAY DOWN to 47F overnight but at least its clear and very sunny!!! haha.
I too wondered about your point ii. ie why didnt they use their own fleet. Hope your thoughts are the reason.
Hows Australia? My wife and I have friends in the Western State (forgot the name). We were going to visit until we learned the air fare!! JDN
