William: It seems AMZN et al's 'profits' ride on margins -- 1% versus much more. So, if I read you correctly, you imply a number of advantages which could yield profit margins rarely if ever seen in retailing: first mover advantages, scale advantages in technology, logistics, advertising and brand recognition along with superior cash management, etc. -- yes? That, combined with rapid growth and global market potential is a compelling reason to invest -- yes?

You bet I am. Las Vegas was giving 3 to 1 odds on you.
So I took it.

The best thing about AMZN is the extradinary customer loyalty. AMZN has transformed lots of people to internet shopping fans. I do agree with Meeker on this one: AMZN has 80% chance to become one of the greatest retailers in the history. I will be an aggressive buyer of this issue between 70-75.

Only one thing will cast big shadow over AMZN: the government announce that online sales are not tax exempt...
