Ah, well, if I am fixing you dinner, I'll keep these thoughts in mind. Even if Lisa's tastes are more eclectic, I'll restrain myself. LOL! A crème anglaise is a light vanilla custard sauce--which does not preclude the whipped cream as well. I'm a wine maven. This dinner would have several wines!

My favorite grape is Welches, 'best if used by 00' vintage preferably...nice in a bottle too. Bummer you have to leave all your new toys to go on the road. They'll still be there when you get back. DeepFried.com ps--think the sell-off will start manana? If not we could be in for a serious run-up. I think if there's strength early in the week it could be all the prospectors trying to catch every last drop of this recent rocket..many could be left holding their butter sticks as the temperature rises. I have no doubt that 'something wicked this way comes' in the next week.
