is the internet a lose lose proposition for the economy generally ? example : amazon loses $ , yet it takes business away from other retailers...sears and jc penney for example are performing poorly, who talks about investing in brick and mortar retailers except for fans of walmart. example : a friend of mine is taking a trip to the far east to holiday and visit someone..in the old days, numerous long distance phone calls were required to make arrangements, now, free email does the trick.
