>>>You know when Henry Ford started making the automobile, people scoffed at him, why?
Because there was no where to drive them.

Forward thinking is a problem on this thread.<<<

Ok, pencil neck geeky kid, you are a little confused here, the title of the thread is tulipmania blowoff, when will it end, not the internet, why it's a fad and when will it end =g=

the greater public was doubting the internets validity several years ago - but guess what the word is now out, i would say most tulipheads here were early adopters and way ahead of the john joe and jane public.

so many of the bull arguments here are centered around the technology change - who the hell cares - we all friggin know that damn technology is the best thing sinced sliced bread, nobody is arguing that, just when the overinflated greed driven bubble prices will crash and don't be so stupid as to think the tulipheads here don't play these pigs on the upside when the worm turns.

since the thread started we had a 38% crash in 8 days in January, and about the same in the period between april and august.

that's it, thats all, step up and place your numbered post for the gold and quit arguing silliness with the tulip gnomes.

>>>forward thinking is a problem on this thread<<<<

cheeky weeky, major contrary statement here.

I am not in a the technology business per se, but was using an early version of the internet to do business in the mid 80's. In the mid 90's i told all my friends and business associates the internet was big, and they should all get email and do a web site, i even tried an early start-up web business and failed, due to lack of interest. They all thought it was a plaything, just like they thought the mac was in mid 80's.

Now all these naysayers have email, they all have websites and they all are buying yahoo.

The forward thinking was years ago, the crowd is in, you cheeky and stuarts like Dale Baker are lemmings at the party.

the forward thinking now, is to go against the crowd.

the internet will create the worst financial disaster since Ford's assembly line and the easy credit 20's, thats the forward thinking, against the crowd, the crowd is all leaning the wrong way.
