Global warming is becoming such a big trend that it is about time it became a cause of death on coroner's reports.

We have very real problems with pesticide pollution and run-off from industrial hog farms and cattle ranches. The coastal waterway between Boston and Galveston are becoming a veritable dead zone in some areas, a cesspool in other areas. In West Virginia, they engage in the bizarre practice of blowing off the tops of mountains so they can extract the coal inside. Streams and rivers are despoiled wherever they do this. We can thank the ex-Klansman Democrat Senator Byrd for that one. I could go on about various logging and mining techniques, but the point I'd like to make is that if we run around trying to solve imaginary crises, focus and energy is drained. We could be fixing some things that need fixing and is actually doable.
