Hi Bob,

...recreate the Virtual files on the new machine using a scan...

Did this, just last night. No luck. If I click on "Create a new worksheet" the program automatically goes to the "Workspace" directory that loads with the program. Even that won't display a chart. It gives the name of several companies, but no chart will display. It displays a message that suggests I need the CD, which I don't have and don't want.

I suspect my problem lies in the fact that the program is looking for files with the extension ".wws" and I don't have anything like that. The only other choice is for the old WOW groups. But, since I never installed the old WOW on this new machine, I don't have anything like that either.

I'm a little puzzled by this, as my MSWIN program immediately read my QPV files. Guess I'll see if Gary can offer me some help. I don't expect any from WOW.

That disclaimer is about what I would expect from WOW. They have done just about enough to avoid a class action suit from all us v5.x users. I don't expect to care a whit if it stops working in 2010 or 2035 (I'll be 98 by then <g>).
