No union people among my clan and friends (x one brother and one brother-in-law who drive airplanes for Delta and another b-i-l who was in NYC construction rackets).

Very little unionism in world of high dollar private schools and international schools. Ditto, overseas U.S. Dept of Def. schools. My son-in-law is technically a union member.

Touching is, of course, not done. Also, the most innocuous favor or assistance, lest it come back as "evidence" of some inappropriate "favor" extended by the student.

You would not believe (maybe you would) the number of "apples for the teacher" in the form of intimate notes or undergarments that show up in the desks of my son and his associates.

My view of unions probably much like some of your views of "religion". Lots of power -- little accountability. I hope you will leave that alone -- you don't want to receive endless "Jesus loves you" messages and I don't want to send them. But, if anyone wants to talk about Christianity.....
