Hmmmm, would you believe me if I admitted to being caught in a middle-aged moment? <G> I'll open the account with cash from the sale of some very DIM Jan QCOM calls and start off slowly, simply buying calls in that account. I'm relatively happy with Waterhouse, so Preferred Trade would have to be significantly better to get me to move my core shares. I'm not sure if you saw my earlier post last night, where I "admitted" to daytrading options. Preferred Trade would be a much better place to do this. With my covered calls and LEAPs, being fleet of foot is not as essential.
