Noticed a wee bit of panic out there today. For you new arrivals, we have been this route before. Today's dip is sector-wide and largely profit taking. There will be other retreats on the way up, but ultimately the direction is up, as we saw during the past year. I would argue that we are not "hyperextended" and our current price level is reasonable given the five months during which we essentially moved sideways. CMGI is finishing the year as a consensus "must-have" for any smart cyber investor. Many dot.coms will crash and burn in year 2000, but CMGI will survive and thrive because of its excellent management and superior strategic planning.
