All,
I've been reading the Treasury gold report hard. In my understanding of both private & public accounting, I have only seen a negative intransit number when items were received to inventory which had not been ordered, or there was a price adjustment due to futures delivery contract changes Vs actuals, but this should not dirve a change in ounces, only price paid.
Can anyone shed any light on this practice?
Can't it only mbe related to some sort of exotic derivatives play?

Well, it's the 27th and gold hasn't made a move yet, a la ole' 49er...so I assume whatever's going to happen to gold will have to wait for the new year?
Crunch time is fast a comin'...I was lookin' for a little more panic by now to tell you the truth...
