OT Tim - just registered that Rick Danko died last week. I saw him in Atlantic City in 1982 or 83 at a little pier with Bobby and The Midnites (you know the Bob Weir band with Billy Cobham and others). Lots of dead heads but most realized Danko and Band links

Danko was solo with him and a female singer/musician and man they were SO good. Danko had such a sweet voice.

I was lucky to see the Band on their Last Waltz tour in Philly ... Junior in High School ... 2nd row floor but off to the side in front of speakers - loud but could see the whole Band just not their horn section... and I always just really liked them.

Two of original members are now dead and one - Robbie - permanantly estranged...

Cheers and the best... "Crazy Chester folowed me, and he caught me in the bar, he said I will fix your rap if you take jack my dooog, I said wait a minute Chester, you know I'm a peaceful man, he said that's Ok son won;t you feed him when you can.....Take a Load Of Fanny , Take a Load for Free, Take a Load off Fanny.....and and and...you put the load, put the load right on meeeee!!" (from memory, sorry if not exact)
