Indian negotiators start talks with hijackers

KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, Dec 27: Indian negotiators began talks with hijackers holding 160 people hostage on an Indian Airlines plane at Kandahar airport in Afghanistan, an AFP reporter said. The seven-member Indian
delegation entered the airport's control tower along with Afghan Taliban authorities. Earlier the Indian officials held a brief meeting in the airport lounge with Taliban foreign minister Wakil Ahmad Mutawakel and United Nations
