PAL...there are so many varying levels of expertise on this thread, that I feel all information is valued. Newbies can always come back to the more difficult posts later. I'm still re-reading Rose's posts because they are hard for me to understand on simply one reading, they are so full of information. So I really very much want to read Buffalo's post...I would not want to say "no" to a veteran trader's information even if it's beyond my current level

paul....re: delta, gamma, and the whole greek alphabet..

delta only considered in a very short term move, as it changes as the stock moves....as you stated keep it simple, if you are buying or selling leaps, delta just another number to confuse.
