Check out the pattern of trading on HLIT and SDLI over the last week or two....could be nothing, but they sure seem to be moving in lock step.

What do ya think:
1/2 share of HLIT for our DIVI,,,
..then,,
SDLI gives us 1/2 share for the HLIT??

that would be ~$20 prem on the HLIT...and suck CUBE near 70!!

MORE 'SPACED OUT' DVD PLAYERS

December 28, 1999 -- Can't deal with a five- or six-speaker surround sound system? Spatializer Audio Laboratories announced Marantz will incorporate Spatializer N-2-2 into its new DVD players. The circuit gives a surround-sound effect from two speakers. It's not the equal of a full 5.1-channel Dolby Digital system, but we've found that if you're sitting at approximately the same distance from the two speakers, the effect is rather convincing.

Three Spatializer-equipped Marantz DVD players -- the DV-4000, DV-7000 and DV-18 -- will start arriving in the first quarter of 2000. You can find Spatializer in VCRs as well as DVD players and other CE gadgets.

Marantz joins Toshiba, JVC, Panasonic, Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Samsung, Sanyo, Goldstar, Emerson, Zenith and Proton in the consumer electronics world as Spatializer licensees. Apple, Dell, Gateway, Hewlett Packard, Sony, Fujitsu, Seiko-Epson, NEC, Micron and Labtec the circuitry in the PC multimedia universe.
