Street talks.. The things I think are important to watch and look at, these are street pundits and I think reading htem early in the session helps.. <<SCHAEFFER'S INVESTMENT RESEARCH, INC. 800-448-2080 www.optionsource.com BULLISH Check Point Software (CHKP - 184-3/4) Hewlett-Packard (HWP - 112-1/2) Internet security provider CHKP has been a relative-strength leader by returning over 300 percent year-to-date. Fourth-quarter returns have also been impressive at about 120 percent. Even though the shares have been steadily trending along their 10-day and 20-day moving averages since October 20, options players are not looking for further upside from the security. Such sentiment is reflected in the equities put/call open interest ratio, which shows that total put open interest outweighs total call open interest. Additionally, the stocks speculative ratio (open interest from the front three months) ranks in the 92nd percentile in comparison to the last years worth of data. This skepticism comes at a time when CHKP is sitting atop its 20-day moving average. This is the first test of this short-term trend-line since mid-November. We look for a bounce from this moving average and for the stock to contend with previous highs.>> fwiw <<Its surfing time still with the McClellan Oscillator above zero (plus 20). Investing? Another story. I think we are very human, full of faults and wrongs. For me this thread has taught me that keep working hard and keep raising the hurdles, go for new heights and that is what I plan to do next year. Never be content with what has been acheived, every day I write that the previous calls are done and dusted today is another day, a new day, a new start, lets get what market gives us.
