printing is what they do best...still, as long as the global deflationary trends persist, they can continue to print with impunity and the excess liquidity will continue to move into the same handful of stocks. only a loss of confidence could upset the apple cart, but what could possibly trigger that? we already know that neither exploding current account deficits nor higher yields can rattle the market..in fact i can't think of anything at all that looks like it could. the highest probability play is probably another stellar year for stocks in 2000.....
