Hi ken - the volume doesn't seem to support that thesis though. How about short covering? BCE did appreciate better, some of the hedgers may not want to fight the tape on this one.

I thought there was news as posted earlier. I think there was some fear of what the BCE plans would do to NT share price. I believe that fear is now out of the way.
THe fibre optics sector is on a roll and NT is now a big part of that--- (JDSU up 35). You could say it was lagging the pack and is about to catch up.

Again this combined with that earlier story is probably the reason. Lucent and Cisco are not doing much today.
