I'm sure the buying pressure is there. Looks to me (based on the fact that all my stocks got hammered) like there was some serious profit taking as some institutions lock in gains.
I have a stock that moved from 6 to 42...and in the last month has moved back to 29 (as of today) for no apparent reason EXCEPT that. Today, it was muddling along at 32 until 3:45, when it fell of a cliff.
I think based on the fact that it's mid-holiday season, most investors are sitting back and letting some bears have fun, then are going to jump in for a little bottom fishing. Should be a fun and interesting week, if not frustrating.
