Rande, thanks for the personal corrections! Your poetic ruminations...from bed to verse...belie an artistic windswept soul...at odds with, while conforming to, our flim-flam amusement park/vaudeville sideshow sometimes referred to as the "financial markets." ...I have very fond memories of Tennessee...actually of three different women FROM Tennessee...Knoxville, Louisville & Lexington...uh-oh...those last two are in Kentucky...no wonder they never wrote back... My backyard also looks down from the hills...Hollywood Hills, that is...swimmin' pools, movie stars, murderous but officially "innocent" ex-football players...the world's busiest freeway...a ruby-red serpentine glow just a stone's throw (or small caliber rifle shot) from my bedroom window...the vultures are quite real here, too...we call them "lawyers."... No doubt the Bears will have their day but I'm a Packers fan and an optimist, at least til tomorrow...another friend from Tennessee, Jack Daniels, is now singing Pink Floyd and I am "comfortably numb."...
