RE: MEHO

I called Meridian this afternoon. PFCK has a DOR of Friday the 31st, but because of the three day settlement period anyone buying after the close tomorrow won't get the free shares. I was assured by IR at Meridian that they aren't doing it that way. It is a simple matter to take the list from Jan. 5 to see shareholders of record on Dec. 30. I appreciate their way of doing business.

On a side note, I was also told that the change from the 31st to the 30th was at the request of NASDAQ. They have already had spotty problems with their share tracking system starting last Friday and want to have as little activity as possible this Friday, hence the date change. My first Y2K effect!

RE: MEHO

There is a rumor that MEHO will file the 5 share distribution @ $5/share. If true that would make 1 share MEHO worth $25.

We Shall See.
