i agree, i think the Japs will intervene HUGELY at some point after the yen begins to crash-up as our bond mkt spikes in yield; but yea, the euro shoudl FLY and collapse our stock mkt

heinz, just saw where we have a big early Jan G-7 pow-wow in Tokyo... this is has to be where the central banks will disagree and calamity will ensue.... the last meeting was used by the europeans to release gold...

if oil goes high enough, the Japanese will have to release the yen since they import ALL of their oil. IF Y2k causes supply disruptions in oil.... that may just be the trigger

... the mkt continues to hint at inflation everywhere while the herd still chants "there's no inflation"
