Hey Don, you are right.
On the other hand it gets to me when a smart ASS comes in and try to show how much they know. This guy ( TONY ) is a showff. Ten years of experience ,blah, blah, blah.
Telling other people how stupid they are etc.
He must be a millionare with nothing to do except talk a lot of crap.
I'm interested in VDOT. Doing some "DD" of my own before I decide to buy some shares.
If you have any info on this company I would appreciate it.
Happy investing!!!!!!!
JOSE

Agreed.
I don't think CamNet is in existance anymore, though. It was absorbed by Suncom.
You are correct, though...many companies are owned by shell companies, which in turn own several other businesses in different areas. There is a web company called Razorfish (RAZF) which designs web sites (like Schwab.com), owns cafes, and even a record label. It happens, but sometimes you will find them spinning off the less successful businesses and keeping the money makers.
In in regard to VDOT, you would hope to be the owner of the software side of it because that is where the party is going to be. The calling card business they still own is not a very high growth area.
Have they filed for posting on the NASDAQ yet? I have not seen any press releases that state this as of yet.
If I were an investor (which i am not since I sold last week), I would be more concerned about when and where they will be presenting the product at trade shows. In the computer industry, that is where many small companies get their product in front of investment bankers and venture capitalists. LINUX would not have a fraction of the clout it has if it were not for COMDEX in Vegas.
It may be helpful to check out sites like ZDNET.com or Infoworld.com to find out the dates of such conferences.

good luck.
