Short interest is about 5X average daily volume. Tejek, haven't written in awhile, but I read most of the stuff I can on this post. High short interest like that is probably going to be one of the catalysts that will propel AMD once it clears a few hurdles (like the 32-34 area). You are correct in assessing the short interest positions because of AMD's checkered past. I have jumped aboard AMD this time around because, and I hate to use this term, this time it's different. When those shorts have to cover, this stock could really move. Anyway that's my two cents. Ed P.
