bsim: Shorting the strongest stock in a sector is usually the wrong thing to do. There are a number of great candidates out there, some of which have obviously topped out, volume has slowed, MM runs them up in the am and sells them off the rest of the day. Then there are the worthless stocks pumped for no reason that will crash when the market breaks, like the XLA's of the world. Then there are the decent companies that have run 500-700% in the past 10 weeks which are simply DUE for a correction.
I am no expert at shorting, but I do know that shorting a leader can be a painful lesson, especially so if you rarely short. The feeling is different in the pit of your stomach when you are short even when you KNOW you are right! TRUST ME on that!

I think shorting CMRC would be insane, IMO
